i had an amazing time running around denver with kaire yesterday. she is an amazing person and so much fun to be with. we were able to get a little bit of everything and had a great time doing it. i can’t wait to post more from her shoot but here is a quick “sneek peek.”
orlando family vacation
we got to go to florida a couple weeks ago to visit carl’s family. here are some of the pictures from our trip.
colorado portrait and wedding photographer~ my kids!
we have been blessed with some amazing kids. for a little while i think they were burned out on “mommy photoshoots” but luckily after a little break, they are back better than ever! i took them out in the front yard on sat morning and got some great stuff.
every year i put together a calender of our kids for family and friends and this year i am doing my best to take pictures every month so i am ready when i put in all together in nov. so far i am 1 for 1!

WOW! what a year we have had. we started this business with some plans for 2009 and we far surpassed them! what a blessing it has been for carl and i to work creatively together. we have had such a great time getting this business off the ground and cannot wait to see what 2010 has in store for forget me not photography. here are some favorite images from our shoots this year.
Gracia and Bradley
here is a sneak peak of the pictures we took at gracia (carl’s cousin) and bradley’s wedding on dec. 19th in lindsborg, kansas. it was so much fun and we can’t wait to share more of the great pictures we got!

AfricAid tea with greg mortenson
there is an amazing young woman name ashley shuyler with a dream, to change the lives of young girls in africa through education. when she was 17 she started a non-profit called AfricAid and has been fulfilling that dream ever since. she held a “tea” with greg mortenson to help raise money for her new project there. greg mortenson, author of “Three Cups of Tea” and nobel peace prize nominee, spoke about the importance of girls education and gave his support to ashely and her new project. it was an amazing opportunity for us to hear both ashley and greg speak. we feel very blessed to help promote both of these great people and their causes. here are a few favorite images from the day.

corinna & dave
we had the chance to take pictures at our friend corinna’s wedding on aug. 21. corinna and dave were married at the botanic gardens at chatfield with the reception at the red barn. it was a beautiful day and carl and i were so excited to photograph a “real” colorado country wedding. these are a few of our favorite images from before and during the ceremony. congrats corinna and dave! many blessings to you and your new family!

we had the pleasure of photographing brian and shauna’s wedding on august 15th. the ceremony was held at our lady of loretto catholic church and the reception at valley country club. they were an amazing couple and so much fun to work with. their energy and love for each other made for a great wedding and reception. we wish them lots of happiness in all the years to come! here are a few of our favorites shots from the day.

a couple weeks ago we had the privilege of meeting john and danelle and photographing their wedding. it was a beautiful, sunny colorado day and a fun park ceremony with the reception at the groom’s parents house. here are a few of our favorite pictures.

we had a fun shoot yesterday, carl took these great pics of lisa and her horse mac. we did them for my friend heather ( www.coloradocorral.com ) and her article on lisa in serenity magizine. it was a fun change of pace and we even brought ellora along to see a “real cowgirl”

happy mother’s day
i took these sweet pictures of my friend jenny beth and her kiddos during their family shoot. i thought this would be a great way to say “happy mother’s day!” we are going to miss these friends when they move back to arkansas!
